Funded by FIRST 5 Ventura County, the Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning (CV NfL) is a joint project of the Conejo Valley Unified School District, Conejo Recreation and Park District and the City of Thousand Oaks.

Neighborhood for Learning (NfL) is a holistic approach to preparing children ages 0-5 for school readiness by weaving together a strong partnership between families, schools, social services, civic leaders, local business and the community at large, which will ensure an emotionally and physically healthy start for our children.
Our Programs & Our Locations
Our services include half-day preschool, full-day preschool, full day infant care and full day toddler care at 7 locations throughout Thousand Oaks. NfL also provides parent education, community events, and parent child interaction groups. We focus on literacy development, health and nutrition and peaceful families - the goal of Neighborhood for Learning is family strengthening and school readiness.
