The Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning's (CV NfL) Infant and New Parent Education Center provides a casual, non-threatening environment for new parents seeking information, support and camaraderie. The transition to parenthood is filled with wonder as well as new feelings and concerns. New parents will benefit from added education, support and shared experiences. Meetings are held in a welcoming, relaxed environment. The variety of groups, programs and classes we offer are taught by trained and certified staff. Neighborhood for Learning encourages a proactive approach by helping families "do it right, right from the start". There is a lending library on site where parents are encouraged to drop in with questions, borrow a book, watch a video, get breastfeeding assistance or have a friendly chat about parenting. Services are open to everyone. While some classes have a small cost, most services are free.

CV NfL offers one-one or group breastfeeding support and education. Group classes are scheduled periodically throughout the year and additional classes form when we have several interested families. CV NfL sponsors infant massage classes for babies less than 6 months old. Infant massage is said to strengthen and enhance bonding and assists with gas, colic, sleep and stress.

New Parent Support Group
