"Yesterday I had the chance to get a tour of the City Center childcare center and it is absolutely beautiful. I am expecting in June and will be considering applying there for child care. Frances Kurowski was so nice, knowledgeable and approachable. I was really impressed with the knowledge of the staff and the willingness to share information. The nursery looks like something that would be in someone's house and the farthest from being institutional. It was so clean and the toys were well taken care of. The nursery was very calming and I actually felt like I was at the spa and not a child care center (just by chance there weren't any crying babies). The outdoor area is awesome and I like that the infants have area of their own. The fencing and ground area is safe and there are lots of riding toys for all ages. I am really impressed and greatly appreciate the priority that CVUSD employees get on the waiting list!!! Congratulations on a fabulous facility!!!"

"My son currently attends the CVNfL Preschool at the University location. He has followed his older sister who also attends the same preschool during the 2008-2009 school year. My daughter started at the University location in the middle of the year as we were transitioning from another preschool. From the beginning, we were impressed with the room at the site, the cooordinator, the teachers and the program. It felt as if our whole family was welcomed into the CVNfL community just as our daughter was welcomed into the classroom. We were inspired to get involved beyond the preschool hours and commitments with their night time events, park day picnics and preschool garden. Though my daughter went on to Kindergarten this fall, my son began his preschool career where he saw his big sister begin the winter before. Even with new teachers and a new coordinator this year, we have the same positive supportive environment that so impressed us last year as a new NfL family. This year, we were lucky enough to start with the school from the beginning and thus were able to have the excitement of the home visit - meetingthe caring and fun new teachers right in our home. On just about a daily basis, my son comes home excited about a fun game or song he participated in, or a project he can't wait to show me after it has finished drying.
Finding this preschool has and continues to be a wonderful experience for our children and our family. We plan to continue next year with University CVNfL."
